My producer, Dan and I created "Tough Love" over the course of 2 years. The creative process began in August 2020, when we were both still living in San Diego, Ca. A collaborative effort went into the beat making process; as we both sat, listening through hundreds of individual sounds, and while Dan crafted preliminary versions in PT, I wrote lyrics and requested adjustments be made. We both moved up to LA in the summer of 2022, where we continued work on "Trash," the album, which set for release later this year. Dan now resides in Philadelphia and I, in Los Angeles, California, where I have secured 2 live shows, one @ Adults Only bar on Sunset, at which I performed "Tough Love" for the very first time.
